This Sorento LX is all-wheel drive, Black over black cloth, with kilometres about average for a 2020. It came to us as a local trade-in, and it is certified and safety inspected, same as everything on the lot. If you are a family around Ottawa, Kanata, Stittsville or Nepean that wants room and all-wheel drive without paying for a lot of extras you will never use, this is the one for you.

The Sorento runs the 2.4L GDI four-cylinder, rated at 185 horsepower, with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. It is the simple, proven setup, and the all-wheel drive is what you want for a February morning in Kanata. It is not a fast SUV and does not pretend to be. Kia rates it at 10.2 L/100 km combined.

The Sorento LX gets heated front seats and a heated steering wheel as standard on the Canadian model, which matters more in Ottawa than almost anything else on the list. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, a backup camera, push-button start, keyless entry, cruise control, steering wheel audio controls, automatic headlights, heated power mirrors and alloy wheels round it out, with a big cargo area behind split-folding rear seats.
