Barely a year of light work on this one and it shows. Somebody bought this ProMaster 1500 Tradesman new, used it gently, and now it is sitting on our lot at used-van money with kilometres far below what you would expect for the year. White, low roof, 136-inch wheelbase, and it still has the passenger seat, which the fleet-spec ones often do not.

It is the 3.6L Pentastar V6 with an automatic, driving the front wheels. Front-wheel drive is the part people underestimate on a ProMaster. With no driveshaft running under the floor the load height sits low, so you are stepping into the back rather than climbing up into it fifty times a day. An empty front-drive van in a February snowstorm is also a far less interesting experience than an empty rear-drive one, and anybody who has slid a work van sideways on Hazeldean knows exactly what that is worth.

The 136-inch wheelbase gives you a long cargo bay with square walls, which is what actually matters when you are fitting shelving or loading sheet goods. This is the low roof, so you are not standing up inside it. If you need to stand up, you want the high roof and we will keep an eye out for one. Backup camera, Bluetooth, keyless entry, power windows, satellite radio and the built-in Wi-Fi hotspot are all here, and it is certified and safety inspected with the CARFAX on the listing.
