The 2024 Durango SRT 392 is the three-row SUV for people who refuse to choose between a family hauler and a muscle car, and this one is the Premium with the Black Package. Triple Nickel over Demonic Red and black leather, with very low kilometres for its age. Dodge is winding down the HEMI Durango, and certified SRT 392s do not sit around long. It suits a family in Kanata, Stittsville or Nepean that needs seven seats and has never once wanted to be bored getting there. The window sticker came to $108,850.

The Durango SRT runs the 6.4L SRT HEMI V8 with 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft through an 8-speed automatic and full-time all-wheel drive, with a limited-slip differential, the 3.70 rear axle and adaptive active suspension. It does 0-100 km/h in roughly 4.4 seconds and will tow up to 8,700 lb when properly equipped. It is worth the walk out to the lot just to hear it start.

The SRT 392 Premium package on this one brings the sunroof, premium sound, navigation, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated leather steering wheel, memory for the seats and mirrors, remote start, a power liftgate and tri-zone climate with rear air. Adaptive cruise, blind spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, lane keeping assist, forward collision mitigation and the backup camera cover the safety side, with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and SiriusXM in the dash. The Black Package adds the black grille and trim and the black aluminum wheels on performance tires.
