This 3500 Limited is the top of the Ram heavy-duty ladder, crew cab, long box and dual rear wheels, in Bright White with the blacked-out Night Edition trim over black leather. The kilometres are very low for a 2023, so it has barely been asked to do anything yet. It carries the Limited Level 1 Equipment Group on top of an already long standard list. Certified and safety inspected. If you are pulling a big fifth wheel or a gooseneck out of Ottawa, Kanata, Stittsville or Nepean and you want to be comfortable doing it, this is the truck for you.

The Ram runs the 6.7L Cummins turbo diesel inline six, rated at 370 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque, with a six-speed automatic, part-time four-wheel drive and a 4.10 rear axle. The dually rear end is the point of the truck: more stability and payload with a heavy hitch weight on the back. The trade-off is plain, it is wide, and you will think twice about the drive-through.

The Ram 3500 Limited equipment list reads like a luxury SUV. Power retractable running boards, the surround-view camera system, premium sound, navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated leather steering wheel, remote start, power folding mirrors with integrated turn signals, rear park assist, HD and satellite radio, LED headlights with automatic high beams, fog lamps, privacy glass, a bed liner, factory hitch and tow hooks, the 220-amp alternator and a block heater.
